10. The Mehrangarh Fort
The Mehrangarh Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most famous landmark in Jodhpur. The fort can be seen from almost any part of the city, as it sits on top of an imposing hill overlooking Jodhpur with its five-pointed star shape. It has seven gates, each named after a planet, star or constellation: Delhi Gate (honoring India’s capital city), Sun Gate (honoring the sun god), Moon Gate (honoring the moon goddess), Saturn Gate (honoring Saturn), Mars Gate (honoring Mars), Jupiter Gate (honoring Jupiter) and Venus Gate (honoring Venus).

Osian Temples are located in Osian town, which is about 10 km from Jodhpur. The Osian Temples are a group of temples built during the 11th century. They were built by Maharaja Jaswant Singh Rathore. There are many temples located in this complex and they include:

This temple was built during 7th century AD and has been constructed with red sandstone and marble. It has statues of Hindu gods like Shiva, Vishnu and Surya scattered around the temple premises. The main deity here is Lord Shiva himself who is worshipped as Mahakalji or Shri ChandeshwarMahadev Ji (The Great God).
ii) Shri Nimishanath Temple
This temple was constructed by Raja RaimalDeoMewar (1634-1672) in 1647 AD to commemorate his victory over Mughals at Umaria, Madhya Pradesh (India).
