While people generally associate Pondicherry as the perfect party place, Auroville has a completely different vibe – the people, the places, the views, the FOOD; it’s just another vibe.

Bread and Chocolate is one of the continental cafes in Auroville that was my personal favourite. The best thing about their food is how healthy it is! My favourites were the Chamomile tea and the sandwiches made out of sourdough bread. They are also vegan-friendly and have been appreciated for their good quality and taste.

However, they have poor customer service, and you may also witness stray dogs running from under your chair.

However, there were a lot of mosquitos while we were sitting outside, so you may want to go for the indoor seating. It’s also a little tough to find because it’s in a remote area of Auroville. But, without a doubt, it was one of the best cafes in Auroville!

The food at Marc’s is fresh, healthy and fulfilling.

If you are in Auroville, you should definitely visit this place and try out their delicious smoothies!

I particularly enjoyed their victory burger, bacon burger, and Nannari juice. They have plenty of options for juices, and you should definitely give them a try!

We had the white sauce pasta, which was flavorfully cooked with basil, and the fried potatoes, which were unlike any we’d eaten before.
